Except as otherwise provided by law, possession of weapons (firearms, handguns, including BB guns and air-soft guns), slingshots, knives (other than utility tools), explosives (including firecrackers), other weapons, dangerous chemicals (outside of a controlled laboratory environment), or any item used in a threatening manner is not permitted on College property or in College buildings. Possession of any "look-alike" item, toy, etc. that resembles a weapon is also prohibited. Employees who knowingly violate this policy may face administrative sanction, including termination of employment.
