Hourly employees hired to a full-time, 12-month position are eligible for annual vacation accrual based on the employee’s years of service as of the beginning of each fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Accrual is awarded for the month of hire if the start date was on or before the 15th of the month. New hire vacation accrual will be prorated based on the date of hire to the end of the fiscal year. Annual vacation accrual is as follows:
Less than 5 Years of Service 10 days (80 hours)
5 Years of Service 15 Days (120 hours)
10 Years of Service 20 Days (160 hours)
Vacation will be allotted at the date of hire for new hires or at the beginning of each fiscal year based on the annualized accrual rate. Newly hired hourly employees may not utilize vacation until they have completed 90 days of employment.
Vacation eligibility for part-time employees is limited to employees working 30 hours per week, 12-month schedule. Annual vacation accrual is as follows:
Less than 5 Years of Service 7.5 days (60 hours)
5 Years of Service 11 Days (88 hours)
10 Years of Service 15 Days (120 hours)
