In the case of your own serious health condition or that of your covered relation (as defined by the FMLA), you may request that FMLA leave be taken on a reduced leave schedule (i.e., shorter work hours or a shorter work week) or intermittent basis, if your health care provider or the family member’s health care provider deems it to be medically necessary. Employees must make reasonable efforts to schedule leave for planned medical treatment so as not to unduly disrupt the College’s operations.
