Time off will be granted for jury duty for any full-time or regular part-time employee. The employee will receive their full regular pay while on jury duty not to exceed 5 days per year. If payment is received for jury duty time, the employee should sign over the payment to the College. As soon as possible after receipt of a summons and in advance of the jury duty date, employees are required to present a copy of the summons to their supervisor. The summons serves as a basis for authorizing time off. Evidence of jury duty service must be presented to their supervisor upon completion of jury duty. If an employee is excused from jury duty for a day, the employee is expected to report to work.
