If an employee is subpoenaed or otherwise ordered to appear as a witness in any proceeding other than those described above, the College will provide the employee with unpaid time away from work for the time required to travel and testify, provided that the employee: has been ordered by a court of law or a government agency to testify; and will be charged with contempt of court or similar legal sanctions if he or she fails to appear.
The College will also provide unpaid time away from work for the time required to travel and accompany a minor child who has been subpoenaed to testify as a witness.
