9.12 Vacation Usage

All employees must submit a Vacation Request form to their supervisor for approval. Any employee who changes his/her vacation plans should submit a revised Vacation Request form. If a College holiday falls in the period the employee is on vacation, that day will not be counted as vacation usage. Employees are allowed to take vacation in increments of 1 hour.

Unused vacation will carry over annually to a maximum carryover of 80 hours. Unused vacation in excess of 80 hours is not carried over, is forfeited, and is not paid out.  All vacation that is carried over from the previous fiscal year must be taken by December 31 or the time will be forfeited and not paid out.
